InterClimate Network is a small not-for-profit organisation with an aim to inspire action on the key issue of climate change. Its first project, the International Climate Challenge, involves hundreds of young people across the UK, Kenya and India who are actively working on projects to positively influence climate change.
The event will celebrate young people's action on climate change and is jointly hosted by InterClimate Network, ENCAMS and Groundwork. It will be an exciting opportunity for young people (aged 10 to 18) from schools and youth groups across the UK, with representation from Kenyan and Indian young people, to:
- showcase their Climate Change projects,
- interact and be inspired by you as current 'change-makers'
- share learning and ideas with other young people from UK, Kenya and India
- review their peers' work and recognise best practice
- give their opinions in preparation for the 2009 UN Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen
