Slow Wine, the first guide to Italian wines published exclusively by Slow Food, adopts a new approach to wine criticism that looks beyond the glass to take into ethical and environmental values as well.
Slow Wine 2011, packed with news, facts and figures, focuses on small- to medium-scale, artisan producers and introduces many up-and-coming wineries, with a special emphasis on the ones that adopt a natural approach and are most closely tied to their respective terroirs.
- From 11.30am to 4pm, the tasting will be open exclusively to the press and members of the trade.
- From 4pm to 8pm, it will be open to the public.
Tickets available at the door: £20 or £15 to members.
