Client: Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS)
Event: Annual examinations
Requirements: The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons require a space which can accommodate up to 900 candidates and regularly choose the RHH for its exams.
Solution: The Royal Horticultural Halls and Conference Centre (RHH) have for many years been synonymous with the academic world and is regularly used as a London exam centre. The Halls host exams run by organisations as diverse as King’s College London, the Royal College of General Practitioners and The Chartered Insurance Institute. The defining factor for many who choose the Halls is the centre’s central London location, whereas for others it’s the fact that they can comfortably accommodate up to 1,500 candidates.
Deputy head of veterinary nursing at RCVS, Annette Amato, says: “The Halls are large enough to accommodate a very large number of candidates – we’ve had 900 in there on one occasion and it is one of the few places in London that can hold so many in one hall.”
All desks are kept in stock at the RHH enabling a smooth and efficient service. With 15 years of experience behind him, assistant halls operations manager, Sam Dunthorne and his team ensure that students and invigilators alike have a stress free day.
