HEVAR, which provides advice, solutions and inspiration for the heating, ventilating and air conditioning industry, is an exhibition and conference organised by publisher Faversham House. Held at several venues across the country throughout the year, it is the only dedicated series of events for the UK heating and ventilating industry. The London event took place at the Royal Horticultural Halls and Conference Centre for the first time in September 2007, when the Lawrence Hall hosted over 1,200 people who turned out to see almost 90 exhibitors over two days. Among the visitors were designers, specifiers, installers and consulting engineers.

This was the biggest event in the show’s 20 year history and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Shorts Industries Group and Vaillant were some of the big names exhibiting products this year. Visitors had the chance to see new products, attend seminars and network with industry peers. 

Joanne Carr at Faversham House explains: “We needed the show to be able to grow from its previous location at a nearby football stadium, and the Royal Horticultural Halls was the right size and in the right location. The Halls provided us with great facilities and there was the added value of all the local amenities for after show hours.”
